Our carriers are always working hard to deliver your packages in a safe and timely manner, but we know that sometimes accidents can happen. There's nothing more frustrating than finding out that your package has either been damaged or lost in transit, and so our expert team have developed a warranty program that gives you assurance when things don't go according to plan.

What is it?

Our SendGuard program was lovingly put together by our expert team to give you the peace of mind that you deserve. For an additional fee of $2.50, your delivery is protected with cover up to the value of $1500.00 (exclusions apply). Your delivery is automatically opted in at checkout, however you are given the option to opt out if you please.

I want in!

That's great! All you need to do is checkout as normal via our booking page and you're good to go! Here are some extra notes to be mindful of.

  • This is not an insurance program, it is a service guarantee. As such, no excess needs to be paid in order to make a claim.
  • The following exclusions apply: currency, jewellery, precious metals, stones, antiques, works of art, drugs, weapons, living animals or plants, cigarettes or tobacco, valuable documents, glass, or glass related products*
    • *Items packaged in glass are protected*
  • Second hand goods will typically be excluded however:
    • This will need to be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
    • If found to eligible, it will be paid at used value.
  • GST is excluded from cost.
  • All contents must be sufficiently packaged, and it must be shown that all reasonable efforts were taken to prevent breakages. Claims will be denied if packages are found to be insufficiently packed.

We understand that you may feel that it's not entirely required for the nature of your package. Feel free to deselect the option during booking to opt out of the program. Please keep in mind however that if you choose to do so, your freight will travel at the consignor's sole risk, and you will need to make your own insurance arrangements. Easy peasy! If you need to make a claim, please get in touch with our friendly team within 7 days of dispatch (delays will be considered). Claims are also assessed within 7 days, and if approved, will be paid out.
